Fruitlands Museum Events
With over 200 pastoral acres of fields and woodlands, Fruitlands’ setting and spectacular sunsets offers casually elegant hospitality to any event or gathering.
Seasonal Specialties Fine Dining is the exclusive caterer for all functions held at the Museum. The menu features a rich selection of traditional favorites and creative cuisine for all tastes and budgets. We will also tailor a menu to meet specific dietary, ethnic or religious preferences.

Dining with a View | The Tea Room Restaurant
Memorable dining and stunning views go hand in hand at Fruitlands’ historic Tea Room restaurant, under a panoramic tent or inside a garden arbor. Come experience creative seasonal luncheon menus, sumptuous desserts, and sweeping vistas with friends and family.

The Tea Room restaurant opened in 1935 to give visitors a place to linger, enjoy good food and take in the amazing views of Mt. Monadnock and Mt. Wachusett. Fruitlands’ restaurant is also the perfect place for social events, weddings, meetings, and family gatherings. 

Hours: Monday thru Saturday 11am - 3pm, Sunday 10am - 3pm                                (Dessert & Tea Every Day 3pm -4pm)
May through October.

Please note: Our galleries and Tea Room Restaurant close for the season                     on October 31st.

Special Events, Weddings & Civil Unions
With over 200 pastoral acres of fields and woodlands,Fruitlands’ setting and spectacular sunsets offers casually elegant hospitality to any event or gathering. Whether the occasion is a romantic anniversary celebration for twenty or an elegant wedding celebration for 180, various indoor and outdoor venues can be rented for wedding and commitment ceremonies, private parties, receptions, meetings, and corporate retreats. Non-profit rates are available.

Gatherings & Meetings
Fruitlands Museum is an excellent location for distinctive family celebrations, corporate social functions, retreats, and small meetings.  Locations for family celebrations, corporate receptions and meetings include indoor restaurant spaces, a panoramic tent, and intimate garden arbor. A number of the Museum's buildings (the Wayside and Picture Gallery) can also be combined to provide unique spaces for small retreats and meetings, accommodating up to 75 people.

Museum Facility Rentals are extended to Fruitlands’ Patron members $250.

Ceremonies
For an additional fee, ceremonies may be held by our nearby garden area and fountain. During inclement weather, the ceremony is held inside the tent or restaurant. Event managers and florists can be commissioned to add to the breathtaking view to enhance your special ceremony. 

Museum Memories
Combine your event by offering your guests a Fruitlands Museum Pass so they can return to visit our changing exhibits, galleries and grounds. The Store will help you coordinate gifts, event bags and museum memberships for friends and family.

Photography
Photography is allowed the day of the event in the Tea Room and the surrounding grounds as long as it does not interfere with the museum daily operations. No photography is allowed in the Museum buildings.  There is an additional charge for any special photography that is not associated with an event or is to occur on a separate date from the event.  This must be approved and coordinated with the museum.  For more information please call (978) 456-3924, ext. 223 or ext. 237.

Parking
Ample parking for 400 cars is available on our grounds.

Nestled in “orchard country” just 30 minutes from Boston, Worcester and Lowell, Fruitlands Museum is easily accessible {more/link directions}.
